Introduction
A pleasant working environment is largely determined by acoustics. Smit Visual Acoustics muffles annoying reverberations in the space. That means conversations can be held in the same space where colleagues are concentrating on work, for example. Our Acoustics range is well-organised and can be supplied from stock immediately.
18 mm thick PET felt
Smit Visual Acoustics panels are made from PET felt. This lightweight felt material muffles sound waves, reducing reverberation. The thicker the panels, the higher the capacity to absorb sound. Our panels are 18 mm thick with an NRC of 0.6.

Acoustic wall products
Acoustic wall panels that can be mounted to any wall thanks to handy stickers.
- Sets of 12 or 24 wall tiles of 30×30 cm per tile. Choice of 3 colour combinations.
- Set of 4 wall strips of 120×30 cm per strip. Choice of 4 colours
Acoustic ceiling products
Acoustic ceiling panels that can be mounted onto partition walls or ceilings easily with the hangers supplied. They are easy to adjust in height.
- Rectangular panels. Can be hung upright (photo) or flat.
- Round panels. Including mounting material for hanging from ceilings, as well mounting material for mounting on the wall.
- Hanging partition walls. Can be hung to up to 200cm below the ceiling.
Desk partition
Acoustic partition panels, one of which is attached to the desk and the other which is free standing on the floor. The free-standing partition wall is made entirely of PET felt. The felt legs simply slide into the panel and offer sufficient strength. The desk panel is attached to the desk with black clamps.
